Flux

Flux was a test project for the eventual successful inclusion onto the global remote freelance website TopTal. This test case, details a solid cross section of my UX / UI design capabilities. Flux was a short project of only a few days to design a task manager app, which enabled the organisation of individual tasks across multiple teams.

Verj

Verj are part of the larger Lab group network. Specifically Verj concentrates on work utilising combined data and behavioural science, providing powerful insights, informing product, marketing and strategic decisions. This was a relatively quick project with a tight turn around, involving the creation of UX and UI in close consultation with the companies leaders.

JotterSpace

As the world of augmented and virtual reality start to gain traction among consumers, its been an eye opening and exciting time to be involved in the development of this augmented reality based app. JotterSpace allows users to locate, produce, position and read digital content, in the physical world. Both environments influence and inform the digital content, for people to discover and share.

Graze

This was a more of a UX focused challenge. Graze a snack subscription based service was experiencing drop off via subscription cancellations. The brief was to highlight to its customers that they could action subscription holidays, along with conveying customisation tools in what type of snacks they would receive in a bid to reduce cancellations.

Clarks

Clarks, a shoe company with an incredible heritage and story. As a child of the 80’s Clarks had a constant presence. I always remember becoming incredibly excited at the prospect of having my feet measured by the mechanical foot measuring machine. Via this project I have rediscovered Clarks and the longstanding craftsmanship. The new Brand director has a strong eloquent vision, bold changes are in the air. This work highlights the first phase to reimagine the digital presence of Clarks.

Virgin Voyagers

Virgin Voyagers a new concept in cruising aimed at affluent young professionals sailing from Miami, Florida via the Caribbean to Havana, Cuba. A huge project that involved the design and production of mobile app’s for sailors / customers to use onboard. A customer / consumer promotional site, and subsequent booking site for the exclusive use by agents to promote and book customers onto sailings.

hub

- - UX / UI - -
hub, a new venture by hotel experts and friends of Lenny Henry, Premier Inn. This new hotel concept works on the premise of being in a central city location, while also highly affordable. The entire hotel is deeply digitally enabled. Check-in Kiosks, interactive screens, and its own mobile phone app, empowering the user to order breakfast, control their TV and even alter the room temperature. Desktop and mobile website. Interior Hotel interfaces.

McVities

McVities the pride of all biscuits. Together with the relaunch of the McVities brand with a series of adverts surrounding cute and furry animals, the campaign included a complete redesign of a very outdated website. The campaign also filtered across all channels of social media and media banners.

Digital Gurus.

Digital Gurus, one of the fastest growing creative recruiters in London, with wider global expansion plans. They already boast offices in Sydney, and Dubai. With newly created slick branding, the task involved a complete re-skin of their existing digital content and website functionality.

Nike Tennis Tuesdays

Nike Tennis Tuesdays, a nationwide evening event created for ladies of all abilities. The aim was to create a platform for women to be more involved in tennis. Encouraging fitness through playing, within a social setting. Fully responsive website.

ClubSpark App

- - UI - -
ClubSpark a check-in app developed both for android and iOS platforms. The apps vision was to assist tennis coaches at coaching sessions to check-in and add participants as they arrived. This data linked into a wider system ClubSpark created for Tennis clubs nationwide. The app has built in future scope, to work with a range of sporting activities.

Concepts

On any given day, I always ask myself what would Don Draper do in this situation. I usually assume he would probably pour a large whiskey, have a nap, and then scribble an industry defining concept on the back of a napkin. In my world, I stare at a white screen in a slight panic, make a cup of tea, put my headphones on, and see what happens, hopefully its good. This section is dedicated to all those small projects usually time pressurised, the end result being for a pitch situation or initial concepts to fire everyones thinking on a project.
